Hestercombe is open as part of the nationwide scheme to raise money for a range of charities.

MUSIC

Tristan Mackay at The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, Taunton, June 6 at 8pm.

With his new album out and being met with rapturous praise from music critics – Tristan Mackay is a seriously hot ticket for 2015. Since he was discovered busking by Grammy Award-winning producer Martin Levan, this Devon-born singer songwriter has been quietly amassing a dedicated and passionate fan base. Tristan’s first studio album, Out Along the Wire topped the iTunes Blues chart in 2012 and received acclaim.

His carefully crafted follow-up album Wire & Wood, is already receiving effusive praise.

Drawing inspiration from blues, folk and soul music Tristan has been compared to Jeff Buckley, John Mayer and Eric Clapton within the industry.

Mrs Noah and the Flood at The The Brewhouse Theatre and Arts Centre, Taunton, June 6 at 2pm

Mrs Noah and the Flood is a new musical by Sasha Herriman and Martin Emslie. It’s a humourous re-telling of the traditional flood stories set to music with a live band. This time it’s a very bold Mrs Noah who's the central character.

This is a fun, family show with great music and a familiar story. The show starts at 2pm with mask making and music workshops for children and families.

Tickets are £11 for adults and £6 for children.
